INQUIRIES are under way into how a wallaby came to be on the island of
Islay.
One was found dead by the side of the road near Islay airport by members of
the airport's fire service on Monday.
They later buried it after informing Strathclyde Police, Argyll and Bute
Council and Scottish Natural Heritage.
