Black Cat hit by car
"Many years" before 1996
While reporting the sighting of a large black cat in the Galloway Forest in 1996, the witness also reported:
Her husband believed that he actually hit one of these cats in his car many years ago when driving from Troon on the back road to Crosshouse.
