Report from George Redpath
Hi All,
This one is once again right on my doorstep.
About 1500 hours on Thursday, 09/01/2003, a lady was exercising her dog between Cuplahills and Lucklaw when she observed a huge black cat crossing a field about 50 yards in front of her. The cat had a very long body and a long tail and kept its body close to the ground as it travelled over the field towards a large patch of gorse. The lady was aware of the dog kill in Wales and as the cat was at least twice the size of her labrador dog she called her dog and returned home in the opposite direction. She had watched the cat for about five minutes and felt that although the cat had seen her it wasn't concerned about her presence.
