Report from George Redpath
Hello All,
Here are details of the latest sighting reported to me. Mike posted the first one on my behalf.
About 1600 hours on 04/01/2003, a gentleman was driving north on the A92 about 400 yards south of the junction of the road leading to Ladybank, when he saw a large, black coloured cat cross the road in front of him. The cat crossed from east to west in a leaping movement and headed for a wooded area on his left where he lost sight of it. He drove home and notified the local police.
The gentleman in question has a very good knowledge of wildlife and has no doubt that the animal was a large feline. He described it as jet black, about the size of a large labrador dog and it had a very long tail. He is very keen on photography and animal tracking and intends to carry out further searches of the area for any further evidence.
