Report from Mike Inglis
Hello Folks,
It looks like one of our cats is the first to show its face this year.
Ill fill in a sightings form when I obtain more details of the sighting if
possible.
The Incident happened at 23.50 Hours on the 3rd January.
A Motorist was driving on the outskirts of Tayport at around 23.50 hours when
they had to break very sharply to avoid colliding with a "Big Black Cat about
the size of a Tiger" on the road in front of them.
It seems from the report that the Cat had been blinded by the vehicles lights
and had run straight at the vehicle then veered of as the driver braked to
avoid it.
GR was contacted almost immediately and being so close at hand was there very
quickly at the scene. When GR got there he could find no trace or signs of the
Cat.
The ground although frozen was not even white with frost in this instance,so
no tracks etc to be found at the scene.
GR will pass on anymore details to me if they are forthcoming.
Good thing about this is we now know the cats out and about so bring on the
snow so we can get down to some serious tracking.
Best Wishes
Mike Inglis
