Hugh black cat seen near Mearnskirk

Hi everyone,

Here are a number of sightings sent to me from various sources including our local police.

About 0100 hours on Sunday, 3 rd November, 2002, a female witness looked out of her home at Loganswell, near Mearnskirk and saw huge black cat at the rear of her house. The cat is described as being at least twice the size of a large domestic cat, it had a very long body and a "proportionate tail". "perked" ears and very bright eyes. The cat carried its body very close to the ground but still stood about 2 feet high. It climbed over a large coal bunker and pile of logs at the rear before slinking off.
