Large jet black cat seen by Newton of Lathrisk, Fife

Hi everyone,

Here are a number of sightings sent to me from various sources including our local police.

About 1930 hours on Sunday, 13/10/02, a male witness, on the Newton of Falkland to Freuchie Road, at Newton of Lathrisk Farm, Fife, (previous sighting at this location) saw a cat jump over a wall on the north side of the road. The cat, which he described as jet black in colour, bigger than a labrador dog and with a long tail, ran over the road and disappeared into the woods.

Where possible I have examined the areas of sightings, however because of the time lapse between the sightings and me being notified, and also the weather factor, nothing useful has been found. The police had also carried out enquiries/searched at many of the locations.
