Three sightings of a large black cat at Redwell Woods, Fife

Hi everyone,

Here are a number of sightings sent to me from various sources including our local police.

During the morning of 6 th August, 2002, female witness watched from her house, a black cat, bigger than her labrador dog, walk down through a strip of trees adjacent to the A912, Gateside to Bein Inn Road, Fife. The cat looked in good condition and its tail, which curled up at the end, looked almost as long as the cats body.

Where possible I have examined the areas of sightings, however because of the time lapse between the sightings and me being notified, and also the weather factor, nothing useful has been found. The police had also carried out enquiries/searched at many of the locations.
