Woman knocked down by big black cat near Glenrothes

Female walking her Labrador dog in woodland near Glenrothes is knocked down by a big black cat as it rushed from some bushes and tried to attack her dog.
Her dog which normally chases cats was chased through the wood and onto the main road almost causing an accident. The cat did not follow the dog into the traffic. It showed no interest in the witness as she lay on the ground.
