Kellas Cat sightings in Fife

I genuinely didn't belive they existed until I found your site but it was myself that had raised the issue of the pawprints that I had seen on the forest trail path with freinds.
They told me of their sightings and of the time that a Kellas cat got trapped in the pens of our local tourist animal farm amongst the deer.
I've no doubt their would be newspaper clippings about the incident with the Fife Free Press.
Anyway I will be far more observing on my next trail ride.

Has any body seen the wild cat?
No this isn't a joke but over the years there have been several sightings of a very large wild cat in the Collessie/Lindores area.
Whilst hacking out in the area last winter I came across some very very large tracks in the snow, at this time I knew nothing of any of the sightings or stories. My horse had become very agitated and then I saw a shadow the hind end and tail of an animal disappear into the undergrowth, it was a fair distance off and thought nothing of it. I put it down to being an animal of some sort and carried on.
However when I mentioned this to some of the other liveries when I got back, they told me of a very large cat that been sighted on several occasions in the area and that a sheeps leg was on the farm track just across the road..(yeah yeah I thought As I mocked, the sceptic that I am they then went on to tell me that in the past, a large cat had entered the animal farm (just after Dabbs) and had become trapped in the pens (?) The incident had been reported in the local press(?)
So I came home and had a look on the internet and came across this site. http://www.bigcats.org/index.html and realised that there may be more to what I saw... So I got in touch...
So now I am trying to find out a little more info... Has any one else had had any encounters with the animal? Have you seen it? Do you know some one that has?
I did hear of a sighting of a Kellas cat on Kingdom FM a few months ago, can any one recall the details?
Any info will be passed on to a local rep... Thanks...
