Report from Mike Inglis
A LEVEN man thinks he may have found evidence of the 'big black cat that has apparently been roaming the countryside.
Several sightings of a large, black panther-like animal with a long tail have been reported.
But Shug Hamilton, and his friend, Grant Wilson, who says he has seen the beast twice, reckon they may have found a paw print.
The two were walking recently near Largo Law when they discovered what appeared to be a print, about the size of an adult's hand.
So convinced were they that it belonged to a big animal that they made a plaster cast of it. Shug, of McIntosh Crescent, intends to take it to the zoo so that animal experts can analyse it.
