Report from Mike Inglis
THERE WERE reports yesterday that a puma-like creature had once again been spotted roaming through the North East Fife countryside.
Three people in the Newton of Falkland area were said to have seen the cat walking along the side of a field at around 11 am.
The animal was described as being brownish/black and around the size of a labrador.
The incident follows a number of similar sightings across 'the east of Scotland in recent years, including several in North East Fife.
