Report from Mike Inglis

It is a long time ago now, approx 3 years, but when driving along a back road from Elgin to home in Garmouth, I was passing Innes House woodlands.
Just after the woods there is a fairly tight turn right on the narrow road with fields on either side. It is only possible to see about 20 yds at the most at the tightest bit of the corner, so what I saw was at very close range.
Just on entering the corner, something moved just inside the fence of the adjoining field. It then immediately took off following the contours of the field perpendicular to the road.
It was around the size of an alsatian dog, but I have absolutely no doubt that it was a cat due to the very different way it was running. No dog I have ever seen runs that way!
Also the head was distinctively cat shaped (no muzzle)
No doubt whatsoever in my mind. Thought you'd like to know.
Best Regards
David
