Report from Leo Martin
A holiday couple last night claimed they spotted a puma sunning itself.
Shocked Ronald Finnie, 44, said: "It came out of the tree's, walked across a field and lay down. Engineer Ronald, and wife Morag, 43 of Peterhead, Aberdeenshire, saw the beast at Alford caravan park, near Huntly.
The weekend sighting is just twenty miles from reports of a panther-like beast last year. A police spokesman said: "We keep an open mind."
