Report by Mark Fraser
A big cat was supposedly captured on CCTV by security personnel in Aberdeenshire, (July 1999) the footage it is said had been studied by vets and zoologists. A week later the now famous Telford footage was taken in a brickyard also on CCTV by security officers. I have not heard any more of the Aberdeenshire incident, and was wondering if somehow the two had been mixed up. Has anyone any information on the footage that was supposedly taken in Scotland, would appreciate your help.
In December 2000, Steve Bain, Chief Photographer with the Aberdeen Press and Journal reported "I do not remember footage from a distillery, but an oil company in the Bridge of Don area of Aberdeen. The footage was taken by the police and was never returned to the company.
