Report from Chris Smith
A big cat being sought by police forces around Scotland may have been seen again yesterday by a motorist in Fife. Police confirmed yesterday that they were following up the report of the sighting at Devilla Forest, which bounds the Scottish Police College at Kincardine.
The 27 year old store manager told police that he was alerted by the yellow eyes of an animal he was certain was neither a deer or a fox. The animal, with pointed ears and a feline gait, disappeared into bushes.
In recent years, around 30 sightings of a large cat-like animal have been reported at various locations in Fife.
