Black "puma-like" animal seen on playing fields at 8.15 am on 6 th September in Letham, Fife.
The Dundee Courier reported the above sighting adding that Fife Police had no report of the incident.
The article also added that there had been around 30 sightings in north-east Fife over the past few years.
Divisional Intelligence Officer George Redpath based at Cupar police station has been collecting reports and said that descriptions of the animal varied in terms of detail but were all said to be "puma like".
