Date unknown	Bettyhill, Sutherland	Puma, very specific description given to police	Seen by two English tourists
Date unknown	Strathnaver, Sutherland	Animal like a puma.	Seen by police sergeant on holiday and three passengers. Bounded across the road, carrying a rabbit then cleared a 9 ft high forestry fence.
Autumn	nr Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire	Like a black Labrador dog, but with a long tail and cat-like way of walking.	Seen at 100 yards crossing road.
Winter	Strathnaver, Sutherland	Large cat-like animal, size of collie.	Seen by two crofters. Came out of woods and swam river. Seen for several minutes at 200 yards.
