Baboon Was Just A Big Hairy Dog

Ayr police said this week that the 'baboon - like' creature spotted in Prestwick was in all liklihood a "big black hairy dog". The police received a reported sighting of the animal in Shaw Farm Road on the night of Wednesday, January 6th. Two officers in a car went to investigate but the only beast that was seen was the afore-mentioned mutt. Police also said this week that they checked with Prestwick Airport to see if they had any animals in transit and were missing a baboon. They didn't and they weren't.
