Report from Reuel Chisholm
Date & Time of Sighting: Approx 5th Sept 2003, 12.30pm.
Witness driving between his home in Maddiston, to Polmont (Grangemouth Area).
Slows down to take a look at large black animal sitting by roadside (thinking it to be a dog), gets to 10-20ft and realises it is a large black cat!
Cat
stands up and stares, 3 1/2 - 4ft body length (larger than Alsation), describes the cat as appearing tall and skinny, maybe malnourished!
Walks slowly and
calmly towards undergrowth, and just as it disappears into trees, gives a
nonchalant flick of it's long tail, in an 'up yours mate' sort of manner!
The witness
is naturally amazed by the sighting and at the same time amused by the 'tail flick'.
Sighting not reported to authorities or press.
