Witness: Mrs K. & children (Veterinary co-worker and friend)
Date: Friday 11th April 2003, c.22:00hrs
Location: Elgin-Rothes road, by layby just South of village of Fogwatt, Morayshire.
Description: Driving South from Elgin, on way home. Forced to brake hard due to emergency braking of the car in front. Car in front soon sped away.
On starting to pull away, Mrs K. saw the mid-hindquarters of a "puma" complete with a long bushy tail disappear into the undergrowth at the side of the road.
Described as unmistakably feline, described as sandy coloured puma, c.30 inches height at the hips.
