Possible puma sighting at Caputh

Hi All,
Just received details of this sighting from a gentleman who saw a cat on Friday. He is positive that what he saw was a Puma and he will make enquiries with some gamekeeper friends in the area to find out if they have heard of any similar sightings.
About 0530 hours on Friday, 10/01/2003, witness was driving south, on the B9099 road out of Caputh towards Perth. About half a mile from Caputh he saw a 'cougar' walking up a steep banking towards the road. He is certain it was a puma and states that it was a dark tawny colour. He has since been back to the area and has photographed a pug mark. He intends to carry out a further search in better light conditions and will inform us of any further evidence that he may find.
