Large puma-like cat seen south of Elgin

Date: Mid March 2003, 5:50pm
Location: Birnie, village 2 mi S. of Elgin Morayshire.
Description: Approaching the local dog walking area agin, in his car.
Sighted an animal sat in middle of road, and on approaching, clearly feline in nature.
Described as mid brown colour, labrador retriever size, but facially feline. Described as "puma", complete with long bushy looking tail.
As car approached, cat casually rose and sleeked off into the undergrowth.
(Of note is that several such sightings are known to me of large
puma cats in this very area, see other Moray sightings. AB)
