Sightings of large black cat near Newtonmore
Late 2002
Had a landowner in today from the Cairngorm area. He told me of a wood south of Newtonmore where there have been sightings of a black cat sometime in the last six months. A local woman who is very knowledgeable of wildlife saw a large black cat as big as a lab and a game keeper has seen a black cat much larger than a domestic on more than one occasion. The location is a piece of commercial woodland in Glen Truim.
