Escaped Lynx Is Recaptured

A lynx which escaped from a wildlife park in Dumfries and Galloway has been recaptured in a trap at a farm.
The wild cat had been missing from Kirkcudbright Wildlife Park since November 25 when it was spotted in a trap at Cannee Farm, Kirkcudbright.
Wildlife park officials believe the lynx stayed in the local area during its period of freedom. RECEIVED: 13/12/2002 16:33:07
