Report from Nick Wirsten
Studio Presenter Tim Backshall said the following:
"The hunt for the Lynx reported missing has taken a new twist after various reports she had been spotted in Dumfries earlier this week. There's since been two reported sightings of her in Kirkudbright."
Next we switch to a shot of a street of upmarket homes in Kirkudbright.
Reporter Kate Webster takes over:
"Although the missing Lynx isn't originally from this neck of the woods, it seems she rather enjoys it here. Although there were reports she was seen earlier in the week in Dumfries, she's since been spotted in this road just down from where she disappeared".
Then Postman Fraser Richardson is interviewed.
"I was just the end of the street and going into another street where I walked up to a house and seen what I thought was just a big cat, and it ran straight past me and into a garden. I didn't think anything of it until I walked up to the garden itself and I shone my torch in, and I saw it was actually a Lynx sitting cowering in the bushes!".
Back to the Reporter with shots of the golf course:
"The evening before, two boys out walking their dog spotted her at the 11th Tee. Owners of the Wildlife Park are desperate to see her come back"
A shot of the entrance.
The Reporter again- "Traps have been laid in the woods nearby in the hope that she can be caught. They are hidden in places like ... where the Postman saw her this morning. Since she escaped on Monday morning she's created quite a stir"
Then to shot of the other female Lynx in a cage.
Reporter finishes off with:
"But the only stir her pal left in a cage at the park wants to hear, is the sound of her friendcoming home"

PS The late Bulletin has just been on and she's still free in the area.
