Lynx escapes in Dumfries and Galloway

Wildlife Experts are tonight searching for a Lynx which has escaped from a Wildlife Park in Dumfries.

The Lynx was disscovered "missing" from its enclosure when staff looked earlier today at the "Kirkubright Wildlife Park" in Dumfries and Galloway.

Experts believe that the "Labrador sized cat" will head for Forests and say it is not likely to pose a danger to the public unless it is cornered.
