Dog chased by large black creature

The lady stays near Dalry in Galloway. She took her dogs for a walk on Tuesday the 24/01/2002. She let one dog off the lead which took of after a couple of Roe Deer and dissapeared from veiw.
Full report to follow but basically the dog reappeared heading down the hillside at a fair rate of knots hotly pursuid by a large very long black creature with a very long tail which was gaining on the lurcher with every step.
The Lurcher made it to the bottom of the hill and turned swiftly at right angles where as the animal went left and disappeared into the undergrowth.
