Report from Phil Crosby
I read in todays "Evening News" (Edinburgh) of a white big cat sighting
being captured on film in Cardrona but can find no reference to this on your
site. Do you have any knowledge of this?
I ask because I, and someone I was speaking with at the time, observed
something similar on a nearby hill in December. Neither of us were aware of
the existence of such a creature and while we concluded the creature was
neither a large dog (moved like a cat) nor an albino fox (long tail and
cat-shaped face) - we did not pursue the matter. Neither of us has brilliant
eyesight (which was why I concluded it had to be a large cat for us to have
seen it from this distance!) but we were both quite clear about its shape
and movement to be able to eliminate smaller domestic animals. I would be
interested to see any evidence that might identify the creature
(particularly as I walk a young dog in this locality)
If you know of this sighting in Cardrona could you please let me know.
Many thanks.
