Bonar Bridge area is quite a hot spot for both black and tawny creatures. The countryside around there is pretty wild but with plenty of cover. I have noticed in this area that qhiute a few sightings are where there are huge areas of whins............and rabbits. One woman I spoke to when I was working on my report saw a puma catch a rabbit 20 yards from where she was walking her dog. Very credible witness too. No doubt in her mind what she saw. She also heard on another occasion a noise like a normal cat wailing only magnified 10 x. this was a few years ago so I must catch up with her again.
