Labrador-sized black cat seen at Balerno

Hi everyone,
Here are a number of sightings sent to me from various sources including our local police.

About 7.45p.m., on 23/09/02, two witnesses watched a Labrador sized black cat, running through a field near Cockburn Farm, Balerno. The cat, which has been seen several times before in the same area, had a very long thick tail. On this occasion the sighting only lasted a short time before the cat entered a wood about a hundred yards from them.
Where possible I have examined the areas of sightings, however because of the time lapse between the sightings and me being notified, and also the weather factor, nothing useful has been found. The police had also carried out enquiries/searched at many of the locations.
