Report from George Redpath
About 1030 hours on Friday, 5/07/02, witness saw a Black Cat within the area of her large garden.
The cat is described as being bigger than the witnesses guard dog which is a German Shepherd.
The cat was seen lying under a tree in the garden and at first was thought to have been another dog.
Witness shouted at it and as she did so her German Shepherd ran towards the animal.
As it (the cat) got up, the German Shepherd which apparently hates cats, stopped in its tracks, then followed witness into her garage. The dog remained inside for sometime until the cat had gone.
The garden has a high security fence round it and witness is unsure of how the cat could have entered or left the garden.
(Sighting forwarded to Mark Fraser of Ayrshire Big Cats).
