Big Cat sunning itself near
Extract from: Five sightings of a large black cat near Dunbar
From the East Lothian Courier, 1 st March 2002
While reporting sightings of a large cat-like animal, described as similar in appearance to a puma or black panther around Dunbar in early 2002, County Ranger Victor Lough mentioned:
All the recent sightings seem to be after dark, although there was a report in the summer of "a large cat-like creature sunning itself on a bale of hay near Whitekirk."
