Huge black cat seen on Dallas - Pluscarden road

Witness: Mr and Mrs S. (known locally by me, not well, but thought very reliable)
Date: 2001
Location: Dallas-Pluscarden Rd, By Elgin , Morayshire
Description: Driving towards Pluscarden en route to Elgin and finally home, Fochabers. Alarmed to see a "huge" cat run in front of their car, leap up onto a nearby tree-stump, pause, perched for a few seconds, then leap away accross in direction of the Monaughty forest.
Although sighting rather fleeting, impressed by size and speed of creature, long black tail, body colour pure black.
