Report from George Markie
Queensferry
Mrs M, her husband and four children were walking near Queensferry when they saw a large black, cat-like animal, larger than an alsatian, in a field.
The animal, which was about 100 yards away, looked across at them briefly and then ran off.
Mr M went over to where they had seen the animal and saw large pawprints which were described as similar in size to the picture in the Sunday Post article.
The incident occurred near and estate and golf course.
