Big cat roaming around Dochgarroch?

Over the last 18 months I have anecdotal evidence of large cat(s) of some sort around my croft.
Last winter I saw (as did my wife) large prints around the house in the snow.
This autumn I got scared out my wits by a growl/bark from the forrest when I was fencing.
Last night there was a lot of activity around my house (sensors tripping and lights being triggered).
Today I went looking and I came across a set of large prints in mud.
As the snow had started and I did not have equipment to cast, but I did photograph. Trail about 8-10 yards in mud, prints about 4" by 3". Too big IMHO for a dog also very "in-line with print on top of print" - like a cat rather than a dog.
