Big cat sighting at Invergordon
Report from Allan Paul
Big cat sighting at Invergordon
Reported 3 rd April 2001 (date of sighting unknown)
The rabbits I feed my wildcats are shot by a fine elderly country gentleman, and experienced gamekeeper.
He was out at night near Invergordon, lamping for foxes, when the lamps lit up what he was sure was a black panther.
They couldn't get near the cat, and it was too far away to shoot.
In my opinion, his judgement and integrity is beyond question, and he is well used to all the native animals, having shot most of them!
