Report from Chris Smith
Reports of big cat sightings in Scotland have shot up because of recent snow.
People see the black or brown mystery animals more clearly because they have no camouflage against the frosty scenery.
Most new sightings have been around Inveraray, Argyll.
One was reported there by James Hunter from Oban.
He said: "A cat twice the size of a Labrador," ran in front of his car in daylight.
Big cats have also been spotted in the villages of Taynuilt, Kilchrenan, Barcaldine and Kilmelford.
