Report from Chris Smith
Polmont, Falkirk
About a month ago I saw a larger than average cat, thick furred, tawny, long thick black tail, walking up the path in the back garden. I was astounded at the time and mentioned it to my husband and son. I only saw it walking away from the house, definitely a cat by the way it walked.
It was far larger than any cat I have seen apart from in the zoo.I listened to the radio that day thinking that I would hear something about it but there was nothing.
I was amazed to see the article in the Sunday Post this morning.

I don't know if my colour description was accurate.
Maybe tawny is not the correct word. Brindled maybe. A bit like the bobcat pictures but with a black tail.
