Report from David Walker
29 th July 2001. Aberlady Nature Reserve, East Lothian, Scotland. Large black cat. Also reported in East Lothian Courier.
Witness states 'I would describe it as two to three times the size of a domestic cat with a thicker tail. It was black with a tinge of brown. I saw it at a distance of about 50 metres side on, it then ran off away from me into thick woodland.
Other people saw it minutes before me in an adjacent field and described it as the size of an Alsatian dog but I thought it was smaller."
