Third Kilmarnock big cat sighting in three days
20 th September 2001
04.15 hrs, an off duty postman came face to face with a large cat in Gateside Close, Kilmarnock, behind the new Mataland store. The postie turned and ran. Kilmarnock police have searched for the cat due to the latest sightings with helicopter and patrol cars but have not found the animal.
