Big cat seen at Kilmarnock - Irvine by-pass
Friday 7 th September 2001
Kilmarnock - Irvine by-pass.
Lady motorist at 23.00hrs saw a "very large black cat" on the opposite side of the road walking towards her.
Caught in headlights, the cat stopped for a moment then nonchalantly carried on its way.
The motorist turned at the next available exit but the cat was nowhere to be seen.
