Another Ayrshire sighting
Late March 2001
Secluded cottage on back road between Kirkoswald and Culzean Castle. Witness. Darkness when the lady of the house went out the back to put rubbish in the bin. She screamed when she saw a large cat standing not more than ten feet away from the door. At the ladies scream the cat turned and bounded away over the fence and into fields.
The next day casts were taken and 'zoologists' brought in to identify them. I am not at the moment aware of the findings, nor who the zoologists were, but I'll be following this one up.
Apparently the Kilmarnock Standard ran an article on the recent Kilmarnock sightings, and put my contact details there. I have not seen it yet, I have been away for a couple of days, but had a couple of calls this evening. Unfortunately not concerning the recent spate of sightings, but interesting all the same.
