Big Black Cat seen near Aberfeldy

October 12 th 2001

On Friday 12 th October at about 4pm, I was out on my bike about a mile and a half from Aberfeldy on the cycle route to Strathtay when I came round a corner and in front of me was this big black cat.

I stopped but not for very long, just for me to get a good enough look and I am sure of what I saw was this cat not just a domestic one but the size of a retriever with a very long tail and walking slowly up the side of the road.

I decided to turn around and get home as soon as possible I was really feeling quite scared, the cat didn't see me thank god.

I have never cycled so fast on my bike before this and I have lost the confidence to cycle on that road now.
