Young and adult puma-type cats seen in June and July 2000
From an email message, July 2001
We had sightings near by of a young Puma like cat sandy colour, black tipped ears, approximately 6-8 months old. I am waiting for verification of foot prints found on our local beach.
The sightings of a larger cat were 1 mile from where I live. Myself, husband and son saw a young puma-type cat with long tail black tipped ears and sandy coat in a field near to our house age approx 6 months.
Four weeks later my husband saw another obviously adult same colour and description one evening driving home near to our house. These sightings were last June time. I also have photographs of paw prints found on a local beach.
