Big Cat seen near Broughton

Dear MCofS,
You ask about any sightings of big cats during travels around Scotland. My wife and I were driving from Edinburgh to Dumfriesshire on the morning of the 29 th August this year. She saw a large black cat about three times the size of a domestic cat, moving quite fast over open hillside not far from the road. The site was near Broughton. I did not see the creature as I was keeping my eyes on the road.
