Report from Chris Smith
Fresh sightings of big cats roaming the Scottish countryside have sparked speculation a family of runaway panthers is breeding in the hills.
Police and the SSPCA have received six reported sightings of a "large black cat" at different parts of West Lothian in the last two weeks.
On two occasions, the people who saw the animal said they believed it had two smaller cats with it.
Yesterday, the SSPCA said the animals were likely descendants of big cats released into the Scottish wilds 25 years ago.
