Large black cat seen at Spynie

Date: 1998
Location: Elgin-Duffus road, outskirts of Elgin
Description: Late evening, driving North-east from Elgin to Duffus home. Just driven past Spynie Hospital, near the entrance to Quarrel wood, when large black cat emerged from the right side of road, from vicinity of grounds of hospital.
Creature bound accross road in a couple of leaps, sporting pure-black colour in headlights, small head, sleek profile, long black tail.
Described as panther-like.
On reaching the opposite side of road, disappeared into the Quarrel-Quarry wood complex, skirting Bishopmill, Elgin.
