Report from Chris Smith
Animal health inspectors were last night on the trail of a panther-like cat after it was spotted injured on a country roadside.
The SSPCA have had a sudden surge of calls about the beast - dubbed the Pentland Panther by locals in Silverburn, near Edinburgh - but have been unable to track it down.
