Cyclist sees huge black cat
14 th July 1997
Scott reported that the animal, only yards from him, stared straight at him before jumping over a hedge and vanishing.
He said "It was long and thin, was about three feet tall and had triangular ears. It definitely wasn't a dog, I'm sure of that.
Later that night he returned with a friend and said they heard "powerful growling noises.
The police were called but found nothing.
